10 AM Until 2 AM Saturday

The National Weather Service maintains a WIND ADVISORY for nearly all of West Michigan from 10 AM this morning until 2 AM Saturday morning.  45 mph gusts are likely inland while 50 mph gusts are possible at the Lake Shore.  This kind of wind is capable of bringing down tree branches and creating some power outages.  Obviously, we hope that doesn't happen.  Winds blow from the northwest this morning then from the north by midday and beyond.  Stay with for your weather today and always!

Norton Shores Police look into another cellphone store break-in

NORTON SHORES, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A group of thieves has hit another West Michigan cellphone store--the third in two weeks--this time in Norton Shores.

Police say five suspects broke into the Sprint store on Harvey Street in Norton Shores just after 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.

A security camera from a nearby store captured the footage as the suspects pulled up to the back door in a dark SUV.

They broke in, taking cellphones and other electronics, and were gone in just minutes.

Police say they wore hoodies, face masks, and gloves.

Earlier this week, the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department released video of five thieves ransacking a Sprint store on Lake Michigan Drive in Allendale Township.

Back on March 25, police say a Verizon store in Lowell was robbed.

Investigators are working to find out if the robberies are connected.
