Traffic stop leads to meth bust in a home with young child

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) A traffic stop leads to a meth bust in Kalamazoo County.

It happened Saturday at 5 a.m. Kalamazoo County sheriff's deputies pulled a car over and found meth in it. They then obtained a search warrant for a house on the 6000 block of Chubb St. in Comstock Township.

Deputies say they found suspected meth, materials for making it and several meth labs in the house and on the property.

Police say several suspects were arrested, for meth and other charges. Child Protective Services was notified, after police found a young child in the home.

The case has been sent to the Kalamazoo County prosecutor's office for review.
