DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for all of West Michigan until 10 AM.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.  Light winds, ample moisture near the ground are encouraging the formation of dense fog.  Because temperatures are near freezing, a light coating of ice may form on some road surfaces making them slick.  Please keep it safe this morning as you head back to work and school.

Trial date set in Sturgis accountant's murder

STURGIS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A trial date is now set for Andy Brown, the man charged with the first degree murder of a well-known Sturgis accountant.

M-Live reports a status conference was held Monday in Saint Joseph County Circuit Court. A judge set the date for June 24th.

The 37-year-old is accused of shooting David Loocey inside his office in October.

Prosecutors say it happened the day after the two men had discussed allegations of embezzlement against brown by one of his clients.
