Through 8 am

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for the following counties in West Michigan, effective until 8 am Friday: Barry, Calhoun, and Eaton. Pockets of freezing drizzle may make hazardous driving conditions in the Advisory area, particularly on less-traveled, rural roads. The freezing drizzle is expected to end shortly before daybreak. Because of the potential for slick spots on area roads, drivers all around West Michigan should use a little more caution on this morning's commute.

Poll: More people doubt bible's relevance

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A new poll finds the number of Americans who consider the bible merely the teachings of men, rather than the word of god, is increasing.

The "State of the Bible" survey finds that while about one in five Americans continue to read the bible at least four times a week and view it as "divinely inspired," an equal percentage doubt the bible's relevance and authority.

That's almost twice the percentage of those who were skeptical of the bible back in 2011.

The greatest increase was among Americans between the ages of 18 to 29.
