LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids maintains a LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY for Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Berrien, Cass, and St. Joe counties until 9 PM.  An additional 1" to 4" of snow are possible on northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph; icy roads are verified by several road reports.  Please be careful traveling as lows dip into the teens tonight; wind chills will be in the single digits.

Easter egg hunts in Battle Creek, Portage and Kalamazoo

WEST MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - There are several different Easter egg hunts going on this weekend in West Michigan.

Saturday West Michigan's largest Easter egg hunts will take place at Victory Life Church in Battle Creek. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m.

You can race to find the best eggs at the First Reformed Church of Portage at 9:45.

Then, you can hunt under the lights during the 17th Annual Egg Hunt on the River Walk from 6:00 to 8:00 at night at Mayor's River Front Park in Kalamazoo.

If you want to wait until Sunday, grab the kids and a basket and head to Airway Lanes at 10:00 a.m. or if you can't make that on there will be another at 4:00 p.m.
