2 Broncos recognized in MAC hoops honors
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Bronco mens basketball team received a couple of awards Tuesday.
Guard David Brown has been named the league 6th man of the year.
Coming off a knee injury, Brown has come off the bench to average 10 points a game.
Brown is only the second Bronco to receive the award, following Reggie Barry in 2004.
First year forward Darius Paul also got some hardware, winning MAC Freshman of the Year honors.
The Gurnee, Ill. native led all MAC freshmen in scoring and rebounding, averaging 10.5 points and 6.4 boards per game.
