FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY is in effect this morning from 4 to 9 o'clock for all of West Michigan except the counties bordering Indiana.  Up to 1/10" of ice accumulation is possible, perhaps more near and north of I-96.  Slippery roads are likely, especially bridges, overpasses, and entrance/exit ramps.  Please be careful traveling through midday Saturday.

Broncos prep for outdoor hockey tilt with No. 3 U-M

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Friday night will mark the first outdoor hockey game in the history of the Western Michigan hockey program.

The Broncos will be at Comerica Park for a Great Lakes Invitational matchup with 3rd ranked Michigan.

WMU was able to get in a practice yesterday at Comerica.

The Broncos are looking to jump-start the second half of the season with a statement win over the 10-2-2 Wolverines.
